Noodles

Since Morgan has done so well on her bike this week, today we went to the military museum. Yes we reward Morgan with a history lesson. Actually there is a giant grass field with a lot of paths that make for perfect biking practice and Morgan was able to circle the entire path without falling. We had a lot of fun taking turns as the leader in choosing the paths to follow and chasing each other. Once Morgan was leading and we needed to make a very sharp left turn. I hollered to Morgan to slow down to turn, but instead she stomped on her pedals to brake, skidded for about a foot, and then fish-tailed into the left turn. I was so proud!

On Thursday, after school, Melissa picked Morgan up from her school bus and the bus aid said that before Morgan's stop she went to the back of the bus to pick up someone's backpack. As she walked back she noticed that Morgan was asleep (as usual) and her friend Russell sitting next to her was pulling on Morgan's hair, letting it go, and watching her curls bounce back. Russell said "her hair is like noodles."
