Yesterday we went to the Way Fruit Farm for their Apple and Pumpkin Festival. You'll notice a lack of photos of Melissa; she insisted on being the photographer. I apologize since you can't see how well the baby is growing, or how Morgan puts it so gently, how large her "tummy" is growing.
Here is a picture of Morgan petting some rabbits, and the largest dog we have ever seen. Morgan was pretty freaked out about the dog, but to think about it she was also too scared to pick up a rabbit.
Here is some pictures of us going on the hay-less hay ride towards a pumpkin patch where we picked our own pumpkin. We ended up picking a 30 pound pumpkin (the one on the left). I liked it because, as I explained to Melissa, a sphere has the least surface area per volume. Since the price is by weight, with a perfectly round pumpkin you pay for more seeds and stuff to throw away for the least possible surface area. So I picked the tall one to give more carving area for less. Sometimes being a nerd pays, perhaps a whole 75 cents in this case.
Here are some pictures of my favorite part of the festival. They set up a water balloon launcher to launch apples at a truck. I aimed for the window the entire time and couldn't ever hit it, but Morgan got one to land in the bed of the truck. It was well worth the dollar for three apples--usually doing something like this gets me into trouble.
