A BIG thanks to all the visitors we have had over the last little bit, it has been so fun. Morgan had so much fun playing with Layne. We had so much fun with Cindy & Rob, and just last week we had a lot of fun with Bekah, Chase, & Nick!!!

Mikayla and Chase at the Park!
Mikayla is really starting to sign a lot and doing great. Here in Idaho you have to take your kids to the health department for immunizations, so yesterday I told her she was going to get a shot and signed to her the sign for hurt or pain. After her shots she only cried two tears--she is so tough. Afterward, when we went into the lobby to check-out, Mikayla went up to another little girl, gave a sad face and signed hurt. It was almost like she was warning her what they did beyond the waiting room.

Today Morgan was trying to show Mikayla how to put her toy phone in her jacket pocket and started to pull the phone out of Mikayla's hands. Mikayla screamed at Morgan, pulled the toy back away from her, scowled at her, then signed "please" and waited for Morgan to do the same. After Morgan caught on and signed please Mikayla handed her the phone.
Mikayla loves to put everything on her head and around her neck, this is usually what she looks like in the day!
Morgan's new favorite thing! Morgan also signed up for soccer today and she is so excited!!!!

Your kids always seem to have so much fun. It's awesome that Mikayla can sign so well. How are you liking Idaho? We'll have to plan a visit sometime soon.

I want to come and visit. I only know one sign though, and it is not really appropriate for children....

now i understand why "hat" was one of her regular sign words that she uses:) i didn't realize that she loved things on her head so much. i've been trying to teach the nursery babies some sign language but i don't think that they're catching on. i laughed when i read the story about mikayla making morgan sign please..that's so funny! don't forget that kevin and i are your "free/take all the time you want" babysitters. call whenever:)

That's so sweet about Mikayla going up and signing hurt to the other little baby. I love the picture with the necklaces and her little "hat". And, my favorite of Morgan has to be the final one, I love the face she's making!
